HomeWheel Spacers and Wheel Adapters: 4 X 115

Wheel Spacers and Wheel Adapters

Find the solution to your custom wheel and tire mounting needs with wheel spacer or wheel adapters.

What's the difference between a wheel spacer and a wheel adapter?

Wheel Spacers go between the mounting surfaces of the wheel hub and the axle and maintain the bolt pattern of the vehicle. They can be used to widen the stance of the vehicle and / or give additional clearance on the inner portion of the wheel for brake and suspension components. Wheel spacers may require the use of longer wheel studs or ET Style lug nuts to provide the proper thread engagement. Wheel Spacers are available in a variety of bolt patterns and thicknesses to suit your needs.

Please note: By pushing the wheel and tire towards the outside of the vehicle, there could be an issue with the tire coming in contact with the fender, especially while turning.

Wheel adapters do all the same things that spacers do. However, they change the bolt pattern to allow you to bolt up wheels that would not fit without the adapter.

Wheel Adapters are available in a variety of bolt patterns and thicknesses to suit your needs. Wheel spacers and adapters can also be used with Hub Centric Rings to improve the fitment and ride quality of your wheels.

Wheel spacers and adapters can be used to solve several issues regarding the wheel and tire fitment on your vehicle — they can also be the source of several problems if they are used incorrectly. Before ordering wheel spacers or adapters, it is important to understand Basic Wheel Measurements.

Wheel Spacers

Get the disc brake clearance you need for custom wheels, space-out an under-sized centerbore, or simply better fill your wheel well by adding simple plate wheel spacers or studded wheel spacers. Widening your vehicle's track width will improve stability.

Wheel Adapters

Mounts wheels of a different bolt pattern on your vehicle. Adapters can be used to change the spread between studs or change the whole bolt pattern including lug count: 5 x 5 to 6 x 5.5 for example.

From 4 X 115 — Means Vehicle Bolt Pattern = 4 X 115, used to adapt wheels with a different bolt pattern to a vehicle with 4 X 115 hubs.
