One of the questions we are asked most often is "what type of material should I use in my project?" Unfortunately, we're not engineers, and we really aren't in a position to make product recommendations.
However, that isn't stopping us from putting together a guide to our products that will help make your decision a little easier. What we've attempted to do is boil down the heavy technical-type information into something a normal person on the street can understand. You may not know, for example, the intricacies of Yield Strength, but you can see that 6061 aluminum has twice the yield strength of 6063.
